Christina Scott is a firm believer in the ability of mission-driven organizations to affect positive societal change. She knows that a social enterprise is the merging of social purpose with business methods, and to that end, has spent her professional career committed to supporting and leading nonprofits to achieve high-level organizational effectiveness for big mission impact.
Christina has 15+ years of strategy, operations, and financial management experience across the private and nonprofit sectors, with a focus on edtech, K-12 education, and startups. Her key strengths include organization transformation and talent enablement.
Christina began her career in Education as a high school English teacher, serving as a district-appointed Master Teacher during her tenure and continued on to serve in management and operational leadership positions within global nonprofits including Teach For America, and ed tech companies including Blackboard Inc..
Christina holds a Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate from Georgetown University, an MBA from Marymount University, a BA in English from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) Certificate. She was born and raised in the Carolinas, and currently resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband.
